Arthur Houghton: The American who returned the Shahnameh to Iran

American diplomat Arthur Houghton returned the surviving pages of the 16th century Shahnameh, the Book of Kings, to Iran in 1994, and revisited the country last spring for the filming of a documentary about this story. The conversation will touch on this extraordinary saga and the ties that still bind the United States and Iran.
